Marijuana is legal, now what? 

Missouri’s New Marijuana Amendment: What It Means for Employers and Employees. Join us as attorney Katherine M. Flett, with Danna McKitrick, educates us. Information covered will include a brief history of what lead us to this Amendment, an overview of the Amendment itself, which will include medicinal use of marijuana (Section 1 of the Amendment) and recreational use of marijuana (Section 2 of the Amendment), issues regarding workplace testing, and what it means to be “under the influence” in the workplace.

Katherine Flett is an attorney at Danna McKitrick, P.C. in St. Louis, Missouri. Danna McKitrick prides itself in being a “one stop shop” for businesses, with departments specializing in employment law, real estate, banking, litigation, and tax, among others. Katherine primarily focuses her practice on assisting clients in employment law, business litigation, and keeping her clients out of litigation! She represents businesses in a variety of industries and sizes, from closely-held family businesses to large corporations.

Katherine grew up in St. Louis and now lives in St. Peters. She is a proud graduate of Rosati Kain High School. She graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Lindenwood University, where she was a member of the women’s softball team. Katherine earned her law degree cum laude at Mizzou Law.

Katherine currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors for the St. Charles Regional Chamber of Commerce and on the Board of Directors for the Professional Women’s Alliance of St. Louis, where she leads its mentorship program. She was also recently chosen by Small Business Monthly as one of the “Top 100 St. Louisans to Know to Succeed in Business.”
